DIY: Lace up flats

Assalammualaikum, hi! How are you all?

Hope you are all doing well. I’m so excited to share that I’ve just published my first DIY video 🙂 I had so much fun DIYing this and was so excited about this video!

This DIY is super easy and super stylish. I have seen these pointed toe lace up flats just about everywhere, so I decided to do a DIY them! I seriously love how they turned out.

Anyway, I hope you all enjoy it and let me know if you made your own pair!

Assalamualaikum friends and family!
I’ve finally finished editing my first video and it is now uploaded 🙂

My first video is a makeup and hijab tutorial where I use the Chi Chi cosmetics instant eye shadow. It’s a life saver for those who are like me and have very little eye makeup skills 😉 Like I say in the video, it’s super affordable. When I say this I mean, it’s affordable in Australia. Cosmetics in Australia is a lot more expensive than it is in America so $10AUD for a 5 pack of instant eye shadow is affordable.

anyway, I’m rambling haha. The lighting in this video is terrible! idk what happened but its pretty bad. my next video, which will be a haul is a lot better. Please watch my video and let me know what you think! It would mean so much to me 🙂 Hopefully my videos will improve in quality and content wise!

GlamGlow: is it worth the hype?

I don’t know about everyone else, but I’ve heard (read) A LOT about the Glamglow mud mask… There was a time when it was all over my Pinterest feed. Like, seriously, it was literally every fifth post or something. I was so very curious on this “Glamglow” product and the pictures I’d seen intrigued me even more. Oh and did I mention I was actually searching for a good facial mask that time so I really really wanted.

However there was a HUGE barrier stopping me from getting my hands on this product and by huge I mean, not sold in my country huge. 😦
So I was in a dilemma, should I pay like $30-$50 shipping for a product that cost $80? To me, it was not worth it. I mean, I didn’t even know if it was any good! Continue reading

Hi all! Hope you’re all doing well, InshaAllah.

sorry for the lack of posts! I’ve been so busy with University lately. I’m only on my first year but I’ve already started prac so every Tuesday I’m at a Primary school observing, learning and teaching. It’s been really good, Alhamdulilah 🙂 I gotta admit, I was really nervous the first day of prac because I was expecting the kids to be like, whats on your head?, Why do you wear that? and such questions but Alhamdulilah the kids are really well behaved, polite and just lovely!

InshaAllah I will posting a lot more and I really want to post more DIY and fashion posts soon! Mid-semester break is around the corner so there will be more post and  summer breaks is not too far ahead, which mean three months off!

Yawwnnnnn… enough about me, more about YOU!

Forgiving someone who doesn’t know they have wronged you is hard. But what’s even harder is forgiving someone who knows they have wronged but has not asked for forgiveness yet…

Forgiveness doesn’t excuse someone’s behaviour but it prevents their behaviour from destroying your heart.

Forgiving someone makes your soul lighter and overall makes you better person so next time someone does you wrong, find it within your heart to forgive them. But this doesn’t mean let people walk over you for it takes a strong person/ soul to forgive others.
A reminder for us all during this holy month.

Kaaba cake is haram?

So yesterday I was scrolling through my Facebook feed when I came across an image of cake that was decorated and shaped like the Kabaa on a cake page I am subscribed to.

I, personally thought it was super creative but others seemed to think otherwise…
